    Description

1940's R4 "Adventures of Smilin' Jack" Complete Set (128) In the 1940's, if parents had to look for their child on a Saturday afternoon they knew where to go. The movies of course. Although the Saturday matinee star is a thing of the past, its stars will live on forever in the hearts and minds of ageless youngsters and through collectibles. This 128-card complete set of "The Adventures of Smilin' Jack" are just as they were sold--in the form of 16 strips, each with eight cards. Possibly sold as a complete set of over the span of weeks, this presentation has survived quite well. All perforations are firm and wear is limited to the outer cards of each strip. All right hand cards are VG due to a corner ding, left end cards are approx. EX due to light corner wear. Each strip presents at the excellent or better level.
