    1933 Chicago World's Fair Pin Backs Trio (3). The 1933 World's Fair was a grand display of exhibits and displays promoting the new innovations in technology in aviation, rail travel, automobiles and many, many, aspect of everyday life. Two of the major highlights was the Zephyr. A newly designed streamlined train that traveled from "dusk-to-dawn" taking just over 13 hours to go from Denver, Colorado, to Chicago. In October, the landing of the German built"Graf Zeppelin" landed in the US. It's symbolism for Nazi achievement a great controversy of the time. The fair also spawned a vast multitude of collectibles. This offered trio includes: A) A 5/16 x 7/16" rectangle pin with 1933 Chicago A century of Progress. In excellent condition; B and C) A pair of 1" diameter metal pin backs advertising for Cardinell Century, official photographers for "A Century of Progress 1933. Both in excellent-mint condition.
