1930's D146 Doughnut Co. of America "Thrilling Moments..." Uncut 4-Card Panel and Rare Collector Album. This 72-card set, titled "Thrilling Moments in the Lives of Famous Americans", is about as obscure as a series can get. The cards were circulated as part of the doughnut boxes making up three panels of each box. A specially designed paper album was made to house all 72 issued cards. Offered is a four-card uncut approx. 8" x 3" panel in excellent condition with only one short crease to note here, otherwise EX-MT over all condition. Subjects include Thomas Jefferson and golfer Bobby Jones. The rare 10"x 15" album is in good condition with corner and spine wear. Interior pages are loose from the cover. There are ten cards inside including Knute Rockne and Sitting Bull. There are some areas where cards have been removed damaging the paper. A pair of items from a very obscure and rare entry. NOTE: Cards are not imaged to scale.
