    1909-11 T59 "Flags of All Nations" Collection (98). NOTE: All the Sweet Caporal backs are "Little Cigars" except for one - Jerusalem which is "Tobacco Wrappers."

    Not for the faint of heart, this colorful edition is a variation collectors dream. There are up to 10,000 different cards once reverse brands, series, factory #'s and ink colors are taken into consideration. Circulated over a 3-year period, these cards promote multiple brands of cigarettes, cigars and scrap tobacco. At its easiest level, "Flags of All Nations" is a set of 200 different flags representing nations, colonies, cities, territories, pilot and yacht clubs, canoe associations and signal flags. Offered is a gallery of 98 cards, the following brands are represented: Blank Backs (34) - Most are hand cut; Recruit (9) - Red, Green, Blue and Black backs; Sweet Caporal (12) - Red, Green, Blue and Black backs; Jack Rose (43) - Mostly Blue with a few Black backs. Grades 90% EX to NM, 10% slightly lesser.
