    Description

1892 N101 Duke "Breeds of Horses" Complete Set (25) - #2 on the SGC Set Registry! Set GPA: 47.6; Set Registry Rank: #2 on the SGC Set Registry. The larger dimensions and full bleed backgrounds make it a challenge to assemble a 25-card complete set in respectable condition. This is a very pleasing largely middle-grade assembly of this Duke Sons & Co. production from 1892. Includes: Graded SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 2 cards w/Canadian and Shetland Pony; SGC 60 EX 5: 6 cards w/Barb of Morocco, Cleveland Horse, Cossack, English Hunter, Tarpan of Russia, and Zebra; SGC VG-EX 5: 6 cards, w/Mexican Horse, Spanish Horse, Steeple Chase, Thoroughbred and Villous of Asia; PSA VG 3: 8 cards w/American Carriage, American Saddle, Dongola, Indian Pony, Marengo, Norman and Tartar; SGC 30 GD 2: 4 cards w/Arab, East Indian, Egyptian Donkey and Pecheron; SGC 20 FR 1.5: 1 card, Clydesdale.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
