Includes: 1889 N85 W. Duke "Postage Stamps" Partial Set (26/50) Plus 14 Extras. Every card from this promotion was circulated with an actual foreign postage stamp canceled and adhered to each card. This unique feature could mean every card can be considered a one-of-a-kind collectible. Offered is a 40-card collection of technically all-different cards, actually 26 different plus 14 extras. Includes: Burning Old Letters, Country Post Office, Dear Sir (2), English Country Mail, First Letter, French Letter Carrier, Give Us That Card Mister (3), Good News At Last (2), Good Reference, Got Any Duke's Stamp Cards, I'm Writing This on the Train (3), Irish Channel Mail, Letters From the Front (2), Mail Aboard Ship, Mail In Winter, Miscarried Valentine (2), N.Y. City Mail, Ocean Mail (2), Plantation Mail (2), Postmaster General Wanamaker, Russian Mail (2), Sad News, Sorting Mail, Ten Cent Special (3), Who's That From, and Zulu Mail (2). Grades generally VG with some lesser and a few nicer; 1890's J.S. Kirk & Co. "Soaps" Trade Cards (7) - Approx. 3" x 4-1/2" cards with young girl with traditional dress, flag and postage stamp.
