    Description

Circa 1973 Lutte Grand Prix Wrestling Promotion Poster with Andre the Giant as Giant Jean Ferre. The spectacle known as professional wrestling has exploded in popularity. In the early days, wrestling was split into territories and filled gymnasiums and smaller buildings. Now the WWE sells out the largest stadiums across the world. Andre the Giant was one of the men instrumental in helping make wrestling as popular as it is today. This 15x22" cardboard promotional poster was used at The Trade School Gymn. in St. Johnsbury, Vermont and features Giant Jean Ferre teaming up with Edouard Carpentier against Killer Kowalski and Mad Dog Vachon. Light corner wear (crease on the lower left corner) is evident. A stain is located on the upper right edge. Easily one of the earliest promotional posters from Andre the Giant's storied career.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
