Description

2004-05 Randy Couture Fight Worn Gloves & Bloody Towels Lot of 4. From one of the most illustrious fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship arena, two groups of collectibles are up for a single bid in this lot. Beginning with a set of three official ringside towels, these are marked "UFC - 49 8-21-04 - Team Couture - Couture vs. Belfort." A notarized letter from Cutman & Cornerman Tom Smario is included to denote the authenticity and to state that the blood belonged to Vitor Belfort. Towels measure 14x28."

Second up in the lot is a pair of gloves used in UFC 52 on April 16, 2005 by Couture, matched up against fellow legend Chuck Liddell. Smario has again attached a notarized affidavit that he took the gloves off Couture and was then presented the gloves by the fighter himself. Both gloves feature brand name "Quano" and the UFC logo on the Velcro strap, and have been signed by Couture on the back of each in 10/10 silver sharpie. The notation of "UFC 52" has also been added in marker. Gloves show very light use which is to be expected in a match where Couture won by Knockout at 2:06 of round one. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
