1992 NASCAR Tire Test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Display Signed by Drivers. On June 22-23, 1992, nine NASCAR drivers and their cars arrived at Indy to determine if the track was wide enough to accommodate stock cars. The test proved a success and the Brickyard 400 was born. This display pictures those cars along with tire test credentials and several autographs on the mat board below: Elliott, Petty, Rudd, Earnhardt, Waltrip, Ervin, Martin, Allison and Wallace. Professionally framed to 22x26". EX+ condition. Dr. Hunter is aware of only one other example in existence, in the private collection of General Motors. Letter of provenance from Dr. Harlen Hunter.
