1976 United States of America Flag Flown Over Capitol on July 4 - Bicentennial! A central event in the memory of the American Revolution, the Bicentennial was a series of celebrations and observances during the mid-1970's that paid tribute to historical events leading up to the creation of the USA as an independent republic.

Presented here is an historically significant five-foot-by-eight-foot flag that was flown over our Nation's Capitol on July 4, 1976. One of multiple star-spangled banners flown over the Capitol on this special day, it includes its original box, and two certificates of authenticity - one signed by congress member Jim Lloyd, and the other by Capitol architect George M. White.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
