    1976 Greg Louganis Montreal Olympics Memorabilia. The sixteen year old Louganis earned a Silver Medal in his first Olympic Games in Montreal, placing second behind the legendary Klaus Dibiasi in the tower event. Presented are his keepsakes of this early encounter with his sport's most prestigious international competition. 1) Swimsuit worn in Olympic competition. No tagging, "USA" design. 2) Louganis' copy of the official Olympic scoring for the diving competition. 3) Navy blue jacket and matching pants, likely worn in the Opening or Closing Ceremonies. "1976 US Olympic Team" patch over heart, diving patch on right sleeve. "Designed by Halston for the U.S. Olympic Team [size] 35R" labeling at interior collar. 4) A second navy blue jacket and matching pants, slightly more "formal," as the jacket is a blazer style. Same patch over heart, also likely worn in official ceremony. 5) Red warm-up uniform, with matching jacket and pants. Jacket has "USA" Olympic patch over heart. Solid wear. "Adidas" tagging. 6) Olympic participation medal in original case. 7) Belt with "USA 1976-Monteal" buckle. Leather belt is size 32. 8) Belt buckle, reads "Olympic Games 1976, U.S.A." 9) Wristwatch with "1976 United States Olympic Team" on face. NRMT condition, needs battery. 10) Two complete silver coin sets featuring all twenty-eight $5 and $10 denomination coins issued to commemorate the Games. One is in original wooden case. 11) Presentational certificate which reads, in both English and French, in part, "Platform Diving, Men, Gregory Louganis has won the silver medal in the Games of the XXI Olympiad, Montreal 1976." Framed to 15x19". Some foxing but presents well. 12) Presentational certificate which reads, in both English and French, in part, "Springboard Diving, 3 m., Men, Gregory Louganis placed sixth in the Games of the XXI Olympiad, Montreal 1976."
