1963 Jack Ruby Kills Lee Harvey Oswald Wire Photograph, Type III. Vigilante justice or part of a larger cover-up? We will let the winning bidder decide what the truth is with this 1963 wire photograph of Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby murdering alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald. Photo measures 7x8.5" and is closely cropped and enhanced with ink to show the details of the slaying. Reverse features a variety of production markings alongside an original newspaper caption/image and red "PEOPLE" stamping. Mild handling wear exhibited. A duo of date stamps are from a single day after Ruby's act. Please note that the photograph was sent to PSA/DNA and deemed a "Type III", but no letter was written.Auction Info
