    1940 Indianapolis 500 Panoramic Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Wilbur Shaw and his Maserati 8CTF won for the second straight year. Some of the 150,000 in attendance at the Speedway can be seen behind the drivers in this glorious panoramic image from the field of the twenty-eighth Indy 500, issued by Charles J. Bell Studios of Indianapolis, Indiana. "18th Annual 500 Mile Race, May 30th 1940, Indianapolis, Indiana" appears at the front bottom. Very minor wear is inconsequential to this outstanding exemplar. Deemed a "Type 1" by the experts at PSA/DNA, this exemplar measures to approximate dimensions of 10x33.75". LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
