Description

1936 Berlin Summer Olympics Ticket Stub Jesse Owens Fourth Gold Medal, PSA Authentic. A stellar example of a 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics Athletics ticket, the owner of this stub was able to see American track and field star Jesse Owens take part in the 4 X 100 Meter Relay to win his fourth gold medal. It would be one of the worst moments of the Games for Adolph Hitler, who unsuccessfully attempted to ban Jews and African-Americans from competing. To see an American black man race his way to a fourth gold medal must have given the Chancellor fits. The item shows wear from age and handling, including creases, but is preserved well. Encapsulated by PSA, Authentic.
