Description

1924 Paris Summer Olympics Silver Second-Place Medal. Classic design by Andre A. Rivaud features nude victorious athlete helping rival off the ground and Olympic rings on obverse and different sporting equipment, harp as symbol of fine arts program and legend on verso. Just over 304 were struck for the Games at the Paris Mint, each measuring 55 mm. in diameter and weighing 76 g. "Argent" edge stamp. Fine condition.
