1924 Paris Summer Olympics Art Competition Third-Place Winning Medals Lot of 5. French artist Claude-Leon Mascaux took third-place honors in the Art competition at the Paris Games with this quintet of medals he designed and minted. Each features a stylized animal in relief on obverse, and blank-with-wreath-edge verso, leaving room for engraving (though none are currently engraved). Each measures 50 mm. in diameter and weighs approximately 50 g. Fine condition.
