1922 Indianapolis 500 Panoramic Photograph. Jimmy Murphy would pilot his Duesenberg to victory in this running of motorsports' most illustrious race, becoming the first driver to average over ninety miles per hour as he took the checkered flag. The famed Barney Oldfield drove the National Sextet pace car you see at the forefront of the pack, seen just before the cry of "Gentlemen, start your engines!" The image remains in fabulous condition, housed in its original black wood frame which measures 11.5x24.5" in size. A marvelous, and marvelously preserved, photograph of the storied Brickyard.
