1912 President Theodore Roosevelt Signed Letter.
The twenty-sixth President of the United States joined the editorial board of "The Outlook" magazine, writing on topics from politics to nature. He uses his personal letterhead from the publication to write to former Indiana House of Representatives member Frederick Landis, brother of Baseball Hall of Famer Kenesaw Mountain Landis.

Roosevelt references another former Commander in Chief, writing, "...I continued the policy which I found in vogue in the office when I came in under President McKinley until I could get Congress to appropriate money for the traveling expenses."

Single page letter is signed in 9/10 black fountain pen ink at close. Original mailing folds, otherwise fine. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
