1938 Seabiscuit vs. War Admiral Pimlico Souvenir Program From Historic Race.In a race which has been affectionately known as The Match of the Century, heavily-favored War Admiral was bested by undersized Seabiscuit. The historic race, which inspired a major motion picture, is honored in this listing. Offered is a souvenir program from the battle held November 1, 1938 in Pimlico, Maryland. Both horses are featured on the cover with the track as the background. Moderate wear around the edges and spine of the program, some creasing in the corners.
