2015 Upper Deck The Cup Connor McDavid (Rookie Autograph Patch-Level 2) #197 PSA Gem Mint 10 - #'d 38/99 - Pop Three! Modern hockey trading cards just don't get more upscale (or expensive) than Upper Deck The Cup, a super-premium product that favors elite quality over quantity in the form of on-card autographs, memorabilia and low serial numbers. Add in a superstar rookie and this "Autograph - Patch" card featuring the first overall selection of the 2015 NHL draft is arguable the single best "pull" from the issue. Selected by the Edmonton Oilers, Connor McDavid is widely considered to be one of the best players in the NHL, even drawing comparisons to the likes of Sidney Crosby and Wayne Gretzky. When he was appointed captain ahead of his sophomore season, he became the youngest in NHL history at just nineteen years old.

As the Gem Mint 10 grade from PSA will affirm, the condition of this elite rarity matches its desirability. Only two other examples have joined this specimen at the pinnacle of the population. The patch at the center of the design features all three of the team's uniform colors, and the blue sharpie signature below is unimprovably bold and enhanced by a "97" jersey number notation.
