Description

2015 Alexander Ovechkin Game Worn Washington Capitals Jersey with MeiGray Letter. Ever since Alexander Ovechkin broke into the NHL scene in 2005 he has been one of the most exciting players to watch, and by far one of the most talented. He has already racked up a Rookie of the Year award and was the first player to win the Art Ross Trophy, Maurice Richard Trophy, Lester B. Pearson Trophy and Hart Memorial Trophy. The goal scoring great led his Washington Capitals via an historic MVP performance in the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals, when his team defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.

Presented here is an absolutely gorgeous red, white and blue Capitals alternate style jersey that was worn during Washington's 2-1 victory over the Senators on December 15, 2015. Exhibiting light wear, the sweater displays sewn-on identifiers on the front, back and sleeves, while the proper size 58 tag is in the collar. This was the first game which the Capitals wore this style of jersey. LOA from MeiGray/Capitals #M06544. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
