2006-07 Alexander Ovechkin Game Worn Jersey. Ever since Alexander Ovechkin broke into the NHL scene in 2005 he has been one of the most exciting players to watch, and by far one of the most talented. He has already racked up a Rookie of the Year award and was the first player to win the Art Ross Trophy, Maurice Richard Trophy, Lester B. Pearson Trophy and Hart Memorial Trophy, but that isn't the only reason serious collectors should bid on this spectacular jersey. This 2006-07 Ovechkin gamer showcases a team repair, slash marks, moderate scuffing and an all-important photomatch from MeiGray. Without question, one of the most impressive Ovechkin jerseys we have ever handled, this piece features the Capitals team logo patch on the front, balanced by the alternate captain's letter "A" at right. Capitals team logo patches affixed at the shoulders, and the number "8" patches on the sleeves. The proper large "8" three-toned patch is stitched on the verso, below "Ovechkin" on the rear nameplate. Size "58" flap tag is in the collar, in addition to the fight strap and ever-important MeiGray "NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2006-2007 Season" and "Capital Equipment Manager Doug Shearer" swatch tags have been affixed in the interior back tail.
