    Description

2002-03 Jay Bouwmeester Game Worn Rookie Jersey. Fierce Florida Panthers gamer is a scarce alternate style, rarely made available to the collecting hobby. It was worn by star defenseman Bouwmeester during his debut season in the NHL after being chosen third overall in the 2002 NHL entry draft. Feline logo patch is sewn to the center of the chest, with a patch at upper right chest relating to the upcoming 53rd NHL All-Star Game that would be held on the Panthers' home ice in early February. Number "4" appears at each sleeve and verso in white and red tackle twill, with "Bouwmeester" spelled in block lettering across rear nameplate. Interior collar holds size "58" flap tag, while lower interior hem features authenticating labels from both the head equipment manager of the Panthers and MeiGray. Fight strap remains affixed at lower rear interior tail. Appropriately light wear for an alternate set is evident. LOA from MeiGray #A01908.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
