Description

1995 Steve Yzerman Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Detroit Red Wings Jersey. A three-time Stanley Cup champion as a player, Steve Yzerman was also the first eighteen-year-old selected for the NHL All-Star Game. In his twenty-three-year NHL career, all with the Detroit Red Wings, he scored almost 700 goals while registering over 1,000 assists. In 2007, Detroit retired his number nineteen. In 2009, he was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The jersey on offer here was worn by Yzerman during the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals versus the New Jersey Devils. The jersey is blood-red with single white stripes on the arms and a white band around the tail. There is a large Red Wings logo sewn over the chest in red and white. "Yzerman" and "19" are sewn on the back in white tackle-twill. "19" also appears on each sleeve. The jersey has both the captain's "C" on the left chest and the "1995 Stanley Cup Finals" patch on the right chest. The tail has been customized for Yzerman; hemmed up about one inch. This CCM air-knit jersey has a "CCM" tag and "50" flap tag inside the collar. The outer tail has a "CCM" logo and an NHL shield logo. There is a 1995 Detroit playoff logo screened on the inner tail. The jersey shows game wear with stick and puck marks. LOA from Joe Tomon. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
