1992 Steve Yzerman Game Worn, Signed All Star Jersey. This lot was originally obtained from former Detroit Red Wings staffer Dominic Marra. During the mid-1980's through the early 1990's, the beloved dressing room assistant developed a close friendship with players such as Steve Yzerman and Gerard Gallant. We are proud to present a wide array of hockey memorabilia that Marra collected throughout his career in the Motor City, and these were consigned directly from Marra's nephew.Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman was part of the victorious Campbell Conference squad, as it defeated the Wales Conference opponents by a score of 10-6 at the memorable 1992 NHL All-Star Game. Played in front of more than 17,000 fans at the historic Spectrum in Philadelphia, this stunning red, white and blue sweater presents the 'NHL" crest patch and "75th anniversary" patch on the front. Signed on the front in huge black sharpie by the Motor City legend, it exhibits noticeable wear throughout. In addition, the proper "Maska" and "[size] 52" tags in the collar, while it features sewn-on identifiers throughout. Interestingly, Yzerman wore No. 18 in the game, which deviated from his classic No. 19, as Montreal legend Larry Robinson, in his final NHL season, wore No. 19 and was honored at the game.
