Known for his leadership, powerful skating, physical play, and scoring prowess, Potvin remains an iconic figure and cornerstone of the Islanders' dynasty era. Here we present a heavily worn Islanders worn by Potvin during the historic April 4, 1987 game when Potvin became the first defenseman to score 1000 career points.
