1984-85 Lanny McDonald Game Worn, Signed Calgary Flames Jersey - With Team LOA! Hockey Hall of Famer Lanny McDonald presented a storybook career in his 17 seasons in the National Hockey League. While sporting his bushy red hair and unforgettable mustache, McDonald was a leader on every team he played with, and turned in his most impressive season in 1983 when he battled the great Wayne Gretzky for the scoring title, with an impressive 66 goals. Regarded as a local hero in Calgary for bringing home the Stanley Cup for the Flames during his final season in the NHL, McDonald wore this red mesh garment during the 1984-85 season.Accompanied with impeccable provenance, in the form of a letter straight from the Flames president and general manager Cliff Fletcher, the jersey shows great game wear with a scattering of stick and puck marks throughout. Signed by McDonald on the front team logo patch, it has the proper "CCM" and "84 07" tags in the collar. Two-color tackle twill NOB is affixed to the back nameplate, while a 1988 Olympic patch was added by the team store in order to market it to the public.
