Description

1983 Jim Craig Game Worn US National Hockey Team Jersey. Along with Mike Eruzione, whose personal collection anchors this Platinum Night event, goalie Jim Craig is the name from the 1980 US Olympic Hockey team that everybody knows. The star net-minder was still representing the red, white and blue three years after his heroics at Lake Placid, and here we present a gamer worn in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships, where his performance earned him the "Goaltender of the Tournament" award, opening the door to a return to the NHL. The jersey exhibits a plenitude of stick marks, puck marks and scattered abrasions from the most dangerous job in team sports. "USA" is applied in red and blue tackle twill stair steps across the chest, with number "30" similarly applied to sleeves and reverse, where "Craig" stands in three-inch block on rear name plate. White tackle twill stars spangle each shoulder. Interior collar is tagged "Cooper Mens Extra Large." Fight strap affixed at rear interior tail. It would set you back a million bucks to own Craig's "Miracle" jersey, so this is a more-than-attractive alternative. LOA from Joe Tomon.
