Description

1983-84 Marcel Dionne Game Worn Jersey. In any intelligent conversation about who is among hockey's greatest players ever, it would be a travesty if Marcel Dionne's name isn't at least mentioned. "Little Beaver," as was his nickname throughout his career is a member of the exclusive 700-goal club, set an NHL rookie scoring record in 1972 and beat out Wayne Gretzky for the Art Ross Trophy in 1979-80. Offered here is Dionne's Los Angeles Kings jersey from the 1983-84 season, and without question, one of the most attractive vintage hockey jerseys in this auction. Highlighted at front and center is the Kings' classy crown team logo patch, with Dionne's number "16" on each sleeve and verso. Gold tackle twill was used for the lettering in "Dionne" across the rear nameplate. This jersey has solid wear throughout with noticeable black marks and interior pilling. The original fight strap is also present in the interior of this beautiful shirt. An absolutely spectacular jersey from the man who rates thirty-eight by The Hockey News in their 1998 list of 100 Greatest Hockey Players.
