1972-73 Yvan Cournoyer Game Worn Jersey. Heritage Auction Galleries is proud to present one of the toughest game-worn jerseys that is offered in our April Signature sale. This rare exemplar, worn during the 1972-73 season by Hall of Famer Yvan Cournoyer conducts extreme eye appeal, and is recognized by serious game-worn jersey collectors as "ultra-scarce" because most early 1970's Montreal tie-down jerseys were sent down to franchise's minor league system after it was used in the pros. This Durene showpiece features the team's logo patch with heavy puckering, multiple team repairs on the sleeves, in addition to solid wear displayed on the two-color tackle twill numerals, which are affixed to the sleeves and verso. The appropriate "Wilson" manufacturer's tag is stitched in the neckline, which completes this superb jersey worn by the speedy skater nicknamed the "Roadrunner." LOA from Byron's Hockeyland.
