1968-71 Warren Godfrey & Peter Mahovlich Game Worn Detroit Red Wings Jersey. Road white nylon durene with red sleeves displays diecut "winged wheel" logo over the chest, oversized "21" on the verso, and "21" on the sleeves, all sewn-on in red and white tackle twill with white embroidery. A singular red stripe adorns the waist, with white stripes and reinforced elbows present on the sleeves. Frayed interior collar tags include a "Olympic Sporting Goods Detroit" manufacturer's label and a "Size 46" flap tag. This specimen exhibits multi-season use, complete with blood stains, stick marks, team stitch repair, and snag tear.

Based on the size of the jersey and the period from which it dates, this exemplar was most likely worn by Warren Godfrey and Peter Mahovlich, and possibly worn briefly by other players on a call-up basis. LOA from Heritage Auctions. LOA from Sports Investors Authentication.
