Description

1965-67 Andy Bathgate Game Worn Jersey. An amazing mid 1960's gamer, with impeccable provenance, this jersey was worn by one of hockey's top right wingers of his era. One of The Hockey News' 100 Greatest Hockey Players, Andy Bathgate put solid use, with multiple team repairs on this white Durene Detroit Red Wings jersey. This shirt, originally obtained by former Wings head coach Jim Skinner, is one of the most desirable styles of hockey jerseys among vintage game-worn jersey collectors. All-original, and absolutely breathtaking, this piece features the team from the Motor City's classic team logo patch at front, and number "21" on the sleeves and verso. The proper "Olympic Sporting Goods" and "[size] 44" flap tags are also stitched in the collar, of this jersey worn by the 1978 Hall of Fame inductee. LOA from Jim Skinner Jr. LOA from Joe Tomon.
