Description

1960's Milt Schmidt Game Worn Coach's Jacket. This elegant coach's jacket was worn by Bruins' legend Milt Schmidt during the 1960's as head man with the Boston Bruins. Schmidt, whose number "15" was retired from his days as a player, at the Boston Garden, made a real name for himself after his playing days as an architect as a General Manager in the new era of the NHL. The offered Bruins coat is classic in every respect, with the team's terrific felt patch at the left breast. This piece is in extraordinary condition, with very minor interior wear, and "[size] L" flap tag stitched in the lining. Embroidered swatch reading "Milt Schmidt" appears at interior front left pocket. Very unique piece worn by a Hall of Famer, and one of the most influential figures in Bruins history.
