Description

1966-80 Gordie Howe Signed Magazine Covers, Lot of 2 - With Bobby Hull. Gordie Howe, known as "Mr. Hockey," was one of the greatest and most durable players in the history of the sport. He played 26 seasons in the NHL-mostly with the Detroit Red Wings-and six in the WHA, combining skill, strength, and toughness in a way few ever matched. Howe was a four-time Stanley Cup champion and six-time Hart Trophy winner as league MVP, finishing with 801 NHL goals and 1,850 points. Renowned for his longevity, he played professional hockey in five different decades, even briefly teaming with his sons in the WHA. Howe's legacy is defined by excellence, humility, and a lasting influence on generations of hockey players.

Offered are two magazine covers featuring Gordie Howe on the cover. He signed both papers in black Sharpie. A 1966 Hockey Illustrated cover signature is smudged. He also shares that sheet with a Bobby Hull signature. Moderate wear from age and separation. COAs from PSA/DNA, T69515 & T69418.
