1980 Mike Eruzione USA Olympic Hockey Team Official Gold Medal Photograph. A perfect complement to Lot 80006 in the Live portion of this Platinum Night auction, this oversized 11x14" photograph finds the happy team captain posing in that team sweatsuit with his newly-won Gold Medal dangling from his neck. This is Eruzione's personal copy of the photo, still housed in its original folder. A thoroughly charming (and only slightly embarrassing) portrait of the Alpha of the underdogs. Minor wear to folder; photograph NRMT-MT. Letter of provenance from Mike Eruzione.*A donation of $100 to the American Red Cross is required to attend the Live auction.
