1950s Quaker Oats Premiums Lot of 80. While the 8x10" photographs that the Quaker Oats company distributed as premiums were issued from 1945 to 1954, most of the 80 that we present here date from the 1950s. That can be determined by the "action photo" format that was adopted in 1950 by the company in favor of the posed non-action shots that dominated the issue before that. The provided group features many stars from both Canadian team as both the Habs and Maple Leafs are represented. Highlights include: Harry Watson, Toe Blake, Cal Gardner, Max Bentley, Ted Kennedy, Syl Apps (x2), Turk Broda, Bill Barilko (x2), Doug Harvey (x2), Bert Olmstead, and Boom-Boom Geoffrion. Condition is solid across the board. Includes an original Quaker Oats mailing envelope postmarked 1947. Guide Value or Estimate: $850 - $12,000.
