    Description

Scarce 1930's Granger Tobacco Paul Thompson Store Sign. A charming reminder of a time when tobacco and sports seemed as natural a pairing as anything, here we offer this scarce 1930s Granger Pipe Tobacco ad featuring New York Rangers fan favorite Paul Thompson. The irregular shaped cardboard sign measures about 21 x 34" at the widest points. Unfortunately, the current offering is not in ideal condition but retains an impressive visual appeal. There is considerable moisture damage and the top layer is starting to come loose form the card board base affecting the entire lower half. The stand-up portion is intact and actually looks like it was never used. There is also damage to outer portion an the letter "G" in "Granger" is there thanks to a tape repair. Still, the overall appeal of the piece, especially when viewed at a distance is sure to grab the viewers attention.
