Hockey Hall of Famer Art Ross was a star player, coach, executive and innovator. The trophy warded annually to the NHL's top scored was originally presented to the league by him and bears his name.

Nicknamed "The Human Camera," Haydon Jones was a well-known illustrator/sketch artist, editorial/political cartoonist, painter and newspaper man during the 19th and 20th Centuries for Chicago Times, San Francisco Chronicle, New York World, Boston Herald, and New York Post. He was a captured as a war correspondent during the Spanish-American War and delivered the first likeness of President William McKinley's assassin. During his lifetime, his dry point etchings were exhibited in New York and Boston galleries and today many reside in public and private collections. Letter of provenance from Conrad Schmidt (the son of Milt Schmidt).
