    Description

2008 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship Ring. After finishing first in the Central Division and Western Conference, the 2007-08 Detroit Red Wings went into the playoffs versus the Nashville Predators with a high amount of confidence. However, despite winning the first two games of the series at home, the Wings dropped the next two and panic began to set in with head coach Mike Babcock. He needed to do something drastic, so Babcock replaced starting goaltender Dominik Hasek with Chris Osgood. The moved proved to be magical, as Osgood led the team to nine straight victories and the eventual Stanley Cup Finals victory.

Offered here is an original 10 karat white gold ring that Wings radio announcer and former player Paul Woods received for his/her contributions to the team during the championship season. Featuring a beautiful scattering of genuine diamonds on the top, the [size] 9.5 piece has "Woods Red Wings BCST" noted on one shank, and "08" on the other. Exhibiting Mint condition, it has the word "Family" in the interior. A remarkable showpiece featuring another impressive Stanley Cup victory for one of the Original Six. Letter of provenance from Paul Woods.
