Description
2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics Torch Carried by Chris Chelios. UPDATE: An image of Chelios with the torch has been added to the web site.Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from hockey great Chris Chelios, this gorgeously designed torch carried the flame on a portion of its journey to Olympic Cauldron Park where the Opening Ceremonies celebrated its arrival. Torch is engraved with the words "Light the fire within" on the handle and bears the logo of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympics on the body. The glass top is cracked and lightly blackened with soot from its portion of the relay. Length is thirty-three inches. Truly historic artifact from the memorable Salt Lake games. Letter of provenance from Chris Chelios. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
