Presented to the team's equipment manager with his letter of provenance

2000 New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup Championship Ring. "Jason Arnott has scored.....and the Devils have won the Cup! Jason Arnott scores...the Devils win it 2-1! And the Stanley Cup....has fallen from the Stars! The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion....and it's the New Jersey Devils!" Radio announcer Mike Miller's call sent the Garden State into pandemonium, the Devils netting a double-overtime sudden death game-winner to complete their four games to two Finals victory over the defending Champion Dallas Stars. It was the second time that Lord Stanley's eponymous trophy would be lifted by the Devils, a squad that rebounded from the March 23 firing of head coach Robbie Ftorek to achieve the sport's greatest team accomplishment.

The man responsible for keeping the likes of Brodeur, Elias and Gomez in sticks and skates earned the presented ring for his service, and a letter from equipment manager Robert McLean attends. A synthetic ruby team logo is set against a checker board of real diamonds on the face, encircled by raised lettering announcing, "2000 Stanley Cup Champions." Left shank reads, "McLean, 2000, 10-2, Eq. Mgr.," the team's playoff road record being the mysterious digits. Right shank features the words "New Jersey Devils" and the logo of the 2000 Stanley Cup. The ring is crafted from palladium and measures to a size nine and a half. No maker's marks at interior band. Original hinged cherry wood display case is present and included. Box exhibits light wear but ring is Near Mint. Letter of provenance from original owner. LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
