1995 New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup Championship Ring Presented to Ken Daneyko. Selected in the first round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft by the newly-relocated Colorado Rockies, the childhood buddy of Mark Messier was sent to the Garden State before the infant franchise had even announced its hellish nickname. Now three decades later, the franchise record holder with 1,283 appearances is still affectionately known as "Mr. Devil" by his legions of fans, who enjoyed twenty-one seasons of his faithful service, the entirety of Daneyko's NHL career. Beloved for a gritty style of play that earned him over 2,200 penalty minutes and a famous gap-toothed smile from teeth lost in combat, Daneyko is one of just three Devils to see his jersey retired from competition.

Such a distinct honor should illustrate just how desirable is the Stanley Cup Championship ring we present here, the first of three Daneyko would win in a Devils uniform, which, of course, is likewise the first in franchise history. A diamond-studded "NJ" logo commands the face of the ring, comprised of close to two carats of genuine gemstones. "Stanley Cup Champions 1995" runs the perimeter in raised lettering. "Daneyko 3" frames the Stanley Cup in miniature and the "NJ" team logo on the left shank, complete with a tiny "1st" to celebrate the inaugural trip to the mountain top. Right shank features a bold "New Jersey Devils" framing another miniature Stanley Cup, with stats of the various playoff rounds recounted within.

The ring exhibits moderate wear, typical of those crafted from the softer, more expensive fourteen karat gold. Interior band is inscribed with Daneyko's facsimile signature and the date the Devils first hoisted the Cup, "Jun. 24, 1995." Band measures to a size twelve.
