Description
1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team Full Ticket Display Presented to Mike Eruzione. From the captain's personal collection comes this display of seven unused tickets for the American team's heroics in Lake Placid, inclusive of the "Miracle on Ice" victory over the Soviets and the Gold Medal finale against Finland. Printed text at lower right reads, "Given in appreciation of your generous assistance in our fundraising effort, February 11, 1995, The 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum." All tickets present as Mint, but have not been examined out of the frame, which measures approximately twenty inches square. Letter of provenance from Mike Eruzione.*A donation of $100 to the American Red Cross is required to attend the Live auction.
