    Description

1980 Herb Brooks Lake Placid Winter Olympic Games Participation Medal. Only a select few athletes are able to elevate themselves to a level and be called Olympians. Far fewer are able to grab a medal during the festivities. All athletes were awarded with a participation medal for their considerable efforts. Herb Brooks was presented with this participation medal for all of the hard work he put into the greatest upset in American sports history. Secured in Lucite, the medal looks as stellar as the day of issue. "Herb Brooks" is engraved on the face of the clear protection. Letter of provenance from the Brooks family.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
