1973-74 Vezina Trophy Presented to Bernard Parent. Nobody did it better during the 1973-74 NHL season than legendary Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Bernie Parent. In a breakout season by the 1984 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, Parent played in 73 games for 4,314 minutes allowing a mere 136 goals for an impeccable average of 1.89 per game. Also, he tallied 12 shutouts and played in an NHL record 47 victories. Presented here is Parent's original Vezina Trophy from that historic season. Awarded annually to the NHL's goaltender who "is adjudged to be the best at this position," it stands at 13" and is accompanied with a signed letter of provenance from Parent. Exhibiting light wear throughout, its front engraved plaque reads "Bernard Parent Winner 1973-74". Letter of provenance from Bernie Parent.
