1972-73 Montreal Canadiens Prince of Wales Trophy Presented to Henri Richard. Presented to the Wales Conference champion by the National Hockey League prior to the final series of games for the Stanley Cup, the Prince of Wales Trophy ritual is one of the most coveted traditions in all of hockey. Offered here is a mini trophy, which was presented to the Montreal Canadiens captain Henri Richard, for his contributions on the 1972-73 Montreal Canadiens. Standing at 13", the moderately minimally tarnished showpiece has a metal plaque on the base that reads "HRH Prince of Wales Trophy Henri Richard," while the back plaque is engraved "NHL Champions Winners 1972-73 Club De Hockey Canadiens." Letter of provenance from Henri Richard.
