Description

1960s Doug Harvey Game Used Hockey Stick. Used by the legendary Doug Harvey while he was playing in the Quebec Aces of the American Hockey League, the stick has his stamped name and "5" jersey number and exhibits nice use and original taping at the blade and handle. Along with Bobby Orr and Eddie Shore, Harvey probably had the greatest impact of any player at that position. His dramatic rushes and superior defensive work allowed him to dominate the game. In a franchise deep in heroes, Harvey gained an immortal place in the history of the Montreal Canadiens. Harvey's reasons for leaving the NHL came about due to his being blacklisted after an attempted formation of a players' association. It is from this era that the Hall of Famer's stick that we present here originates, as he played with Quebec from 1963-65. A must-have for fans of the Habs.
