Description

1950's Maurice "Rocket" Richard Presentation Hat Trick Trophy. Unquestionably, one of the greatest legends ever to lace up the skates, Maurice Richard was the first player in history to score 500 goals, while in the process the Montreal native was a key part of eight Stanley Cup-winning squads.

Originally sold in the famed "Rocket Richard Auction" of 2002, here we present the legendary skater's personal hat-trick trophy from the 1950's. Sponsored by the "Dow Brewery" company, this charming showpiece was given to the Rocket after one of his many three-goal performances during his storied career.

Measuring at 9x9.5", it displays a wooden base, which holds its original ashtray, in addition to a puck, which reads "TROPHEE TOUR DE CHAPEAU". An extended hand tipping its metallic top hat completes the original relic from one of the biggest names in sports. Letter of provenance from Maurice Richard Jr. Photo of Rocket Richard holding the trophy.
