    1943-44 Clint Smith Lady Byng Sterling Silver Presentation Cigarette Box. Clint Smith's Hall of Fame career included twice winning the Lady Byng Trophy. The award is annually given to the hockey player who "has exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with high standard of playing ability." This presentation cigar box is composed of sterling silver. The following is engraved on the top: "Souvenir of The Viscountess Byng of Vimy Challenge Cup Presented by Viscountess Byng of Vimy to the National Hockey League 1935 To encourage clean sportsmanship Won by Clinton Smith Chicago National Hockey Team Inc. Season 1943-1944." Some tarnishing is present on the sides. A maker's mark and "Sterling" appear on the bottom.
