Serious Montreal Canadiens signature collectors will want to pay close attention to this offering, as it includes a nice array of some of the more obscure examples from the war years. Included is an original letter sent to a fan who was in search of autographs from his favorite team. Presented on team stationery and dated "December 1, 1942," it has been signed in Mint fountain pen ink by the 1938 NHL scoring champion Gordon Drillon. Accompanied with the 8.5x11" letter is a multi-signed 4x6" sheet, featuring the following pencil signatures: Drillon, Terry Reardon, Elmer Lach, Emile Bouchard, Chas Sands, Joe Benoit and Tony Graboski. Light staining and wear is exhibited on the sheet, while it presents a light crease through the center. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
